Creation Destruction
at Luminato Festival 2022, Trillium Park, Toronto
Style one: Abstract Photos
These photos are taken in three abstract styles to depict the movements and abstract concept of the performance.
1. Underexposed: To reveal the luminescent quality of the dresses of the actors, I set the exposure to lower than the standard amount that exposure meter shows.
2. Low Shutter Speed: To depict the movement of the artists
3. Silhouette: To show the relation of the artists with their background screen
Style Two: Realistic Photos:
Realistic photos are meant to portray the artists, individually or collectively, and represent the nuances of their movements and their relation to the other artists acts. Shutter speed is high to freeze the movements. However, in some moments, I used a moderate shutter speed to show stillness and movement of different actors simultaneously.
Finally, a wider shot to show the spectacular background and the music band.
